NHRP Academy provides bespoke support for the next generation of researchers and academic leaders in health and care to access career development opportunities. The Academy operates across the spectrum of health and care research and at all stages from pre-doctoral onwards.

If you are, or aspire to be, on a health and care academic pathway, at any stage in your career, from any discipline (clinical, practitioner, methodology, policy), then NHRP Academy is here to support you.

Our team is based at Newcastle University (Ridley 1 Building) and has an open-door policy for research colleagues who need academic career support and advice.

Robust support and guidance on external fellowship and training award applications, including interview preparation
Co-ordination and connectivity on training and academic careers across the infrastructure
A guaranteed mock interview for all applicants who have received support through the academy pre-submission of their application
