Victoria’s internship focus and aims

My internship focuses on developing the NHS Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP) career pathway in the North East. It aims to raise awareness of CRP roles, strengthen training and progression routes, assess regional workforce capacity, and evaluate the introduction of a senior CRP role.
I am particularly looking forward to exploring existing practice and engaging with others in the profession to help shape the CRP pathway. In the absence of a well established network or regulatory body this can be challenging. This internship provides an opportunity to identify good practice, gather evidence, and highlight gaps to support future development of the profession.
