Meet Jackie

Jackie’s internship focus and aims

Embedded within Newcastle University’s dementia research environment, my internship aims to strengthen my applied research capability, contribute to ongoing dementia studies, and produce an academic output on dementia, while supporting preparation for a future fellowship application. I am particularly looking forward to dedicating time for reflection alongside co‑production and PPI work with people affected by dementia, authoring my first academic paper, and working closely with multidisciplinary research teams to bridge evidence, practice, and impact.
