Learn effective ways to connect with and collaborate with VCSE partners
Session Information
The voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector is at the heart of supporting communities and improving health and care outcomes. For researchers, building effective partnerships with VCSE organisations can lead to more effective, community-informed research outcomes.
This interactive session will introduce the VCSE sector, exploring the organisations it includes and the important role they play locally and nationally. You will gain practical knowledge on how the sector is structured, governed and funded, as well as learn effective ways to connect with and collaborate with VCSE partners.
The session will also highlight key guidance, frameworks and resources to support successful partnership working. Throughout the session, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own work, identify potential areas for collaboration, and consider how stronger VCSE partnerships can enhance future projects.
