The impact of public partnership working – public contributor perspectives

Date and time

Event date: Wednesday, 21 Oct 2026
Time: 13:00 - 13:30
Location: Online | Teams

Join us for this webinar exploring the impact of public partnership working through the experiences of public contributors, Chris Lloyd and Victoria Bartle, who have played a key role in research and training across Newcastle Health Research Partnership (NHRP).

  • Our speakers will reflect on their personal journeys, sharing how involvement in initiatives such as the Public Partnership Training Programme and Working Group has influenced their development and created opportunities to shape health and care research.
  • They will also discuss the wider impact of embedding public contributors within research partnerships and decision-making structures, demonstrating the value of genuine collaboration between researchers and the public.
  • There will also be the opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Who is this for?

Whether you are a researcher, healthcare professional, public contributor, or interested in patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE), this webinar offers an opportunity to hear first-hand experiences of how public partnership can create lasting impact for both individuals and organisations.
