We are delighted to welcome Vonne to lead the second session in our PPIE training programme.
Beth Reeves, Siobhan Flynn and Lisa Taylor will join us to discuss how the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector plays a key role in supporting communities and delivering health and care services and support.
Session Information
This session aims to provide research, health, and other potential partners with an overview of what the VCSE sector is and the types of organisations within it, ways to connect with the sector, and awareness of the current VCSE landscape locally and nationally, including how the sector is organised, governed, and funded. The session will also cover some key guidance and publications to guide partnership working with VCSE organisations and provide space for learners to reflect on opportunities to connect and work with VCSE partners going forwards.
Programme Information
The programme is open to staff and public contributors involved in health and care research, regardless of their role or the organisation they work for. The sessions will offer participants the opportunity to learn how to do PPIE and participation activities effectively within research.
There is no requirement to have any previous experience within PPIE. There are various training sessions available that are relevant to individual levels of PPIE and participation knowledge.
Register for this event here.
*Please note there are only 30 spaces available for this event*
