NHIP Academy Know Your Funder | NIHR SCPRA Round 2

 

NHIP Academy is proud to host a series of events where researchers can hear directly from funders about personal awards and fellowship schemes, including doctoral and advanced/post-doctoral fellowships.

 

The Know Your Funder series will see speakers give an overview of the different schemes available to health and care researchers on the career development pathway.

 

Our next Know Your Funder event will be hosted by Anne-Maree Keenan, OBE, Professor of Applied Health Research, University of Leeds, Chair, NIHR Senior Clinical and Practitioner Research Award.

 

Anne Maree will be joined by panel members Annette Hand, Professor of Nursing at Northumbria University and Niina Kolehmainen, Professor of Child Health research at Newcastle University to discuss the second round of the NIHR Senior Clinical and Practitioner Research Award (SCPRA).

 

Launched in 2023, the SCPRA is open to senior clinicians and practitioners who have previously obtained a PhD/MD and provides 20 percent to 50 percent of protected time from within current roles to engage in research activities.

 

The event will take place on 10^th October 2024, 4-5pm, via zoom.
