Newcastle Health Research Partnership Academy Fellows Forum | Making the leap, tips from the experts on publishing

Prof Jones OBE and Prof Pennington will explore their experience of publishing, from the perspectives of clinical trials and laboratory science. The session will cover tips and tactics for publishing well and how developing a publishing strategy can make all the difference.

Drawing upon their observations from the front line, the two experts will discuss topics such as the importance of early dialogue with journal editors, the vital impact of trial design on publishing success and how your approach to publishing can greatly impact your ability to achieve excellence.  The session will offer a chance to engage in creative discussion and ask the experts questions, with the aim of leaving the session with key ideas on how to improve your approach to publishing.

NHIP Academy has extensive experience helping applicants successfully navigate all stages of the fellowship application, including helping interview preparations. Since October 2022; NHIP Academy has supported over 30 members of our community to secure Doctoral or Postdoctoral Fellowships via interview.

The Fellows Forum is a peer-to-peer support network for researchers working with NHIP Academy and offers a programme of events to share best practice and network.
