Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement is the action of working with patients and the public to help shape and inform your work. Meaningful PPIE can help improve the quality of your work and help extend its benefits.

Led by Dan Duhrin (Involvement and Engagement Manager, NIHR Clinical Research Network North East and North Cumbria), this session will help you develop an understand of PPIE. We will explore different PPIE activities and their impact, barriers and enablers that exist, and provide examples of PPIE in action.
