Whether you have involved patients/public in your research from the beginning or not, it is important that we effectively share research findings with broader audiences.

This training session is designed to equip researchers with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed for impactful dissemination. By actively engaging, participants can promote the reach of their research, driving further collaboration and inspiring positive change.

Through this session, participants will explore a range of dissemination opportunities and their potential impact. Interactive activities will help attendees form strategies, reach target audiences, and consider how to evaluate the effectiveness of their approaches. A practical case study will showcase successful collaborative dissemination efforts, providing insights into engaging stakeholders and amplifying research impact.

Learning to share your work meaningfully, especially with those who it may affect, is an important way to demonstrate how your research matters and can be transformative for those who you engage with.

This session will be led by: Dr Luisa Wakeling, Faculty of Medical Sciences Director of Engagement and Place, Newcastle University.
